Pitcher Tim Alderson threw three scoreless innings in his debut with the Indians.  Indianapolis collected nine hits, but went 0 for 5 with runners in scoring position.  RF Brandon Boggs went 3 for 4 and SS Jordy Mercer went 2 for 4.

AA: Altoona Curve (6-7) won 4-3 the Harrisburg Senators
WP: Brandon Cumpton (1-2)  S: Duke Welker (1)  LP: Michael Kickham (1-1)
SS Brock Holt and RF Adalberto Santos each had three hits, with both players hitting a double.  LF Quincy Lattimore hit a solo homerun in the second inning.  1B Matt Curry hit a 2 RBI double.  The team still struggled with runners in scoring position, going 1 for 11.
A+: Bradenton Marauders (6-7) won 2-1 in ten innings over the Fort Myers Miracle
WP: Porfirio Lopez (1-0)  S: Jason Townsend (1)  LP: Bruce Pugh (0-2)
There wasn't much scoring in this game, but the Bradenton pitching staff managed to give up only one run.  LF Dan Grovatt went 2 for 4 and drove in the winning run in the top of the tenth inning.  The Marauders other run came on a single by 2B Drew Maggi in the third inning.  Fort Myers got their only run on a double by LF Lance Ray in the bottom of the fifth.
A: West Virginia Power (5-9) lost 9-8 to the Charleston RiverDogs
WP: Pedro Guerra (1-0)  LP: Jordan Cooper (0-1)
The Power jumped out to an early lead in the second inning when they sent 11 hitters to the plate.  However, they only had three hits in the inning; a triple from CF Gregory Polanco and singles from LF Willy Garcia and RF Josh Bell.  A grand slam by RiverDogs' 2B Angelo Gumbs helped Charleston to tie the game in the bottom of the fifth inning.  The RiverDogs would earn the victory with a two run bottom of the eighth inning.  The Power scored one run in the top of the ninth, but needed two to extend the game.
